If you're here looking for my fics, I've finally got something of a master list.

Finally bought plane tickets for Azkatraz. Shouldn't have waited, expensive as shit. *facepalm* Uhm, I've never been more unprepared for a con in my life, who am I rooming with? anathema91? acromantular? And if not, oh god I need to find roommates in the next week or so! D:

My life is so disorganized. I should also start thinking about job searching soon, now that I've finally gotten my last few credits and graduation dates and such figured out.

Things that make me glee:

1. tehopheliac made a podfic for Where All Paths Lead, which I wrote back in December. !! Talk about unexpected love, eh? ♥ It's the first fic of mine that's been made into a podfic, and hearing someone read it out loud actually kind of made me blush, heh.

2. strangeandcharm's new fic. You guys are gonna love part 5. *g*

4. Seeing Transformers 2 twice (once on IMAX *_*). God, I love these movies, and Shia, even though he's kind of fucked up. But I still love him. And BUMBLEBEE, oh my god, you know what I realized last night? BUMBLEBEE = CASTIEL. Seriously, the whole powerful, non-human being leaving his kin to be a guardian autobot/angel to a human thing.. And Bumblebee was all "you're the most important person in the world to me" or something to Sam, and loves him endlessly and loyally, and doesn't talk much, and was all heartbroken when Sam said he was going to leave him. And Sam loves him back, but not as much as Bumblebee loves him. JUST LIKE DEAN AND CASTIEL. Seriously, someone tell me to shut up.

5. The Fall, which I finally watched because kitsu84 keeps talking about it. And Lee Pace. Oh my god, you guys are right, LEE PACE IS KIND OF AMAZING. PLS TO BE SPAMMING ME WITH PICTURES OF HIM? ♥

For the record, ibroketracy ibroketuesday made me do it. Isn't that a mishaland tag? I may need my own, hmm.

Notes: This was originally sort of meant to be a sequel to Where All Paths Lead, but the details of it don't quite fit with that fic and that fic doesn't quite fit with canon anymore, so this is a standalone, I guess. A very strange, very angsty one. I dunno, I dunno, please do tell me if it doesn't work. :| Also, I don't really think Zachariah is an archangel, but Misha thinks so, and it worked for this fic, so.
Summary: Time is fluid, and Castiel can see how it will go because he can bend it on occasion.

1. Back from Colorado! Trip was fun, except good god, who knew it would cost $230 to rent a compact car for one day? Man, we (being my cousin and I) got hustled hardcore, but luckily we found a cheaper deal for the rest of the time. It's also lucky I paid for insurance, because some most-likely-drunk asshole(s) bashed in the window and the cops were politely unhelpful, not through any fault of theirs. But other than that, awesome trip!

2. Recs! I've decided I must rec fics more often. Thus, I've updated the stupidly massive rec post of doom with the following: ( Only a few, since I've been off gallivanting around Colorado and all. )

3. Speaking of the stupidly massive rec post of doom, it's already gone over the character limit for LJ entries and this was only my first update to it. *facepalm* I thought about splitting it into two posts or moving it over to Dreamwidth, but no rec post should be that long, so what I ended up doing was un-sharing all of my existing bookmarks on Delicious and turning that into a rec.. thing. All recs can now also be found here, with all their thematic tags and everything. (Isn't the 21st century wonderous?) As for the LJ post, I'll probably start removing some to make room for others, but Delicious has no limit that I'm aware of, so all the old/removed ones will be there.

4. I've been told I need a master list of some sort for my fics, which I always thought was funny since I haven't written that many, but whatever, I've bookmarked all of them at Delicious too, under fic-by-me. I even dug up my pathetic handful of old H/D fics, hah.

5. Speaking of H/D fics, sexts and I are actually contemplating hd_career_fair. o.O I haven't read any H/D fic in forever and I was so sure hd_holidays would be our last fest, but. Who knows?

6. And speaking of fics in general, you've made me paranoid about my warnings, flist. :( But this is probably a good thing, right, to be more conscious about things like that? I checked all my fics to be sure, but they all have warnings on them where appropriate, go me! Didn't warn for death on the last one, but it was neither a violent death nor anything that couldn't be gleaned from the rest of the header, so. What's the standard for that, is it really a common trigger if the death is a peaceful one?

7. One more question: You know the banal "better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all" saying? It's so common for a reason, but what if someone (who the fuck am I kidding, you all know I'm talking about Castiel) never, ever dies and continues existing for all of eternity being bitter about that loss? Is it still better to have loved and lost? (depressing-as-shit fic idea is depressing-as-shit!)

Still in Colorado, so still mostly absent, but I will try to catch up on comments soon. For now, I just want to say two things:

1. This thing in Iran is fucking huge, isn't it? I've been reading the articles and looking at the pictures and thinking, "Jesus Christ, this is really happening out there, Jesus Christ."

2. If you haven't already, please consider supporting vichan's nomination for the LJ advisory board. She needs 50 more motions of support before tomorrow to be a candidate. I know a lot of you don't care about these elections, especially with things like Iran's election catastrophe going on, and I'm not going to try to make you care, but this will only take a few seconds of your time and I know vichan well enough that I feel comfortable vouching for her as someone who will do an excellent job if she gets voted in. So, really, I encourage you to support her! Thanks if you do. ♥

*sigh* It's 2 am, I'm supposed to be leaving for the airport in less than four hours, and I haven't even packed yet. fml. I don't know why this suddenly happened tonight but it did, and I can't tell how much I like it since I wrote it while mildly groggy, but I'm posting it anyway because I have no time to edit. *facepalm* Internet time may or may not be scarce over the next week and a half, but I will try to keep up with things as best I can! ♥

Today I took my epic prelim exam, passed it, and promptly decided to quit graduate school! *beams*

I mean, tentatively, I'm going to stay and do this grad school thing for another six weeks or so, cause I'm only six credits short of a Master's degree (who knew?) so hopefully I can get that over with this summer, but then after that I shall be done with this school shit forever. Fuck trying to get a PhD, no more waffling back and forth like a pathetic waffley thing.

Holy shit. School is basically all I've ever known, and now I have no idea what to do with my life. Which is kind of terrifying but mostly awesome.

Oh god, but before I start panicking, hahahha, what should I do with my life? I guess the most logical option would be to look for some kind of neuroengineering industry job, but I kind of want to try something completely unrelated to my degree, just for shits'n'giggles. I mean, I'm only 22, I can afford to make a few mistakes, right? So, what do you guys do with your lives? Do you like it?

MISHA WAS AMAZING TODAY. I mean, he's always amazing, but especially today. There is some fucking hilarious shit in here, plus he had to cover for Jensen (who got stuck doing autographs, alas) so there was extra Misha time!
